Inspire in 5

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a scientist?

Do you want to see where new technology and innovation will take us in the future?

Have you ever asked yourself how anything you learn in maths is actually useful?

Learn about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths from the experts!

Join us on the evenings of November 11th and 19th for a series of presentations from some of our incredible Women in STEM Mentors to learn about the endless opportunities a career in STEM can offer. You will hear first hand what it’s like to work at the frontlines of innovation, and learn how rewarding a career in STEM can be!

  • What can meteorites tell us about the evolution of the solar system?
  • How can you cross your love of people or art with science?
  • How does forensic science help catch criminals?

This event is designed for high school students in years 7-9, their parents and their teachers. Each of our Women in STEM mentors will give a short presentation about their studies, career journey, and day-to-day work, followed by an opportunity for students and parents to ask questions.
