The Innovators’ Tea Party Announces a Brand New Event for Students in Years 7-9: registrations now open!

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a scientist?

Do you want to see where new technology and innovation will take us in the future?

Have you ever asked yourself how anything you learn in maths is actually useful?

Learn about careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths from the experts!

Join us on the evening of Monday 12th November for a free series of presentations from 12 of our Women in STEM Mentors to learn about the endless opportunities a career in STEM can offer. You will hear first hand what it’s like to work at the frontlines of innovation.

  • What can meteorites tell us about the evolution of the solar system?
  • What is it like to work on the biggest ship in the world?
  • How does forensic science help catch criminals?

You will have the opportunity to speak 1-1 with each of our presentors in an informal meet & greet after the event where they will be happy to answer any questions you have.

Date: Monday 12th November 2018
Time: 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Venue: City of Perth Library Auditorium
Target Audience: Students in years 7-9, parents & teachers welcome

To ensure students fill as many seats as possible, a limit of one adult attendee per registration applies.
