Volunteer – Speed Networking

We are pleased to announce that The Innovators’ Tea Party will again be hosting our flagship program in the Perth CBD with the aim of showcasing the amazing work of WA women working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) to local high school students.

This program will consist of 9 separate speed-networking sessions across three dates in terms 2 and 3, 2021. Each session runs for 1.5 hours and during this time students meet 12 different Women in STEM Mentors. Mentors have 6 minutes to tell students (who attend in groups of 1-2) about their career and current role, and answer any questions they might have, before students move on to the next mentor. Mentors will volunteer to attend one of the 9 sessions, which are listed below:

Location: State Library of Western Australia

We are currently recruiting a team of 100+ women who would like to volunteer their time to be mentors at this event.

We will be building our mentor team from as many different STEM fields & industries as possible. Mentors will range from young professionals just embarking on their careers, to managers and technical experts with decades of experience.
