The Innovators’ Tea Party aims to inspire the next generation of girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and maths. We do this by connecting Western Australia’s technical experts and STEM leaders with high school students via engaging career programs. These programs are delivered in schools and also public events that are free for students to attend.

Our work is supported by:

  • 9 years expertise operating across WA with our STEM programs, systems and tools perfected over years of practice
  • Charity registration – we are the only girls in STEM organisation in Australia to have obtained charity status
  • Sponsorship agreements with 5 local organisations, the majority of which have been returning for many years in support of us
  • An army of hundreds of women in STEM volunteers ready to inspire the next generation
  • A dedicated casual staff member coordinating our programs and a committee of 12 volunteers managing events.
  • A waitlist of schools in Perth and the regions seeking our events!

With everything working in our favour to deliver an excellent service to our beneficiaries (girls in STEM) every donation goes directly towards delivering our STEM career programs! We welcome donations from individuals, groups and organisations.

The cost of running our programs include insurance, venue hire, catering, advertising, printing, the salary of our casual STEM Program Coordinator and the fees for the systems and tools that we use (e.g. website, volunteer management software etc). Some examples of donations that you could provide and the corresponding benefit to community are below:

  • One ticket to an Inspire in 5 event: $10
  • One ticket to a Speed Networking event: $30
  • In-school program for 200+ students at a low socio economic school in Perth: $1,000
  • In-school program for 200+ students at a regional school in WA: $4,000

For groups and organisations donating more than $500, we will thank you via a post on LinkedIn, a certificate of appreciation and your organisation logo in our end of year report.

Your support means the world to us!

Please note: while we are a registered charity, we do not have dedictible gift recipient status (DGR) and as such your donation is not tax deductible.
